It’s been a minute since I last updated, but that’s ok, life gets busy and blogs are really not that important when it comes down to it. Lately we’ve been playing a lot of Pokemon Go, enjoying the Gen 2 update and Water Event.
Speaking of water, we had fun at the Denver Downtown Aquarium. Well mostly fun, They have a simulation of a flash flood that was pretty terrifying for Felix, but he was able to get his nerve together and run really fast past it.
the playground has to be Felix’s favorite place, he loves playing with the neighborhood kids, exploring the equipment. He’s definitely getting braver, but still pretty shy of the slides, he’ll climb up them, but generally doesn’t want to slide down. That’s OK, we’re taking things slowly anyways. He started attempting to climb the ladder, he does pretty good, but needs me to hold his feet in place while getting up and down. His favorite part though are the 2 bridges, one has a slope going up while the other one is made of planks and slopes down, he loves running back and forth from bridge to bridge, with seemingly endless energy .
After an awesomely long nap, Felix decided he should probably see what his friends Drew and Stella were up to.
After a short drive and an even shorter stroll we were in Lindsay’s new art studio. Everything was a big dis-organized. Which means everything is exactly as it should be. After a quick hello, Drew, Stella, Felix and I were ready for adventure time.
We made it about half a block before deciding we should probably stop for some coffee. It was a good choice.
Felix can’t wait till he can run around with Stella! But for now he’s content to just observe the world going by around him.
We stopped by work on the way home for a quick snap, unfortunately i didn’t take any pictures! But Felix was so excited to see his mommy! Felix also go to meet lots of nurses, techs and doctors, it was pretty exciting stuff.
