we used this RustOleum paint that is like super thick and has like sand in it, it was pretty awesome, kind of like painting with mud, but supposedly lasts for 10 years (i don’t plan on doing this again anytime soon). i still have a lot of touch ups to do, the stuff splattered like crazy, but the texture is awesome. Every time it would rain the floor would get so slick,i put some grip tape stuff on the stairs, but it still wasn’t what i would call ‘safe’. this stuff like lick thick and gritty and gross, and people are not gonna be slipping, it’s awesome!
