this is not a nintendo ds game review.

last night i finally did it. i beat phoenix wright: ace attorney: justice for all.

which got me to thinking i should probably do a list of the games i have beaten on the DS.

so here we are.

so first off is the first phoenix wright game. which was absolutely amazing. kinda short. and some of the parts in the cases got a little tedious. but the story more than makes up for it. and for the most part the game play is fabulous.

phoenix wright: ace attorney: justice for all.. oh man. i just finished this game. and amazing. the story. really. its just so good. i did have a couple gripes. and that was mainly to do with the last case in the first one had all sorts of tools to use in the investigation, taking finger prints, looking for blood splatter, that kind of thing. while the second one has nothing of the sort. which, of course, is due to the fact that the first two games were made for the GBA, and then ported to the DS.. and they tacked on one case to the first episode utilizing the touch screen more. but thats ok. amazing game. the ending is amazing. just amazing.

new super mario bros was amazing. its a true sequel to super mario world. with enough new features to keep you entertained the whole time. short levels.. which works perfectly with a portable device. easy though. a little too easy maybe. i think it was less than a week than i had all the secrets…

mario kart ds is the most fun i have had on the DS, the local multiplayer is amazing. the wifi multiplayer kinda sucks. but when your playing with 8 friends in your living room. absolutely amazing. it took me forever but i did finally get three stars next to my name. (only one star on all the practice modes, but i dont care about those)

this was the first castlevania game i have ever played. and i can’t believe i hadn’t played them before. technically i have not beat this game 100%.. im at 99.6% and dont really want to figure out what i missed. i think i might have to collect 100% of the souls to get the last .4%.. oh well. maybe when i feel like it ill get a full 100%. but the game is super fun. the touch screen uses were pretty tacked on last second. but over all the game is a blast.

final fantasy three. is a pre final fantasy 6 game. which means it rules. but not as hard as say. final fantasy 6. so. good game. amazing graphics. fun to play. but some of the DS features were pretty lame. like i havent beaten some of the side quests because it involves sending mail to other final fantasy three owners to unlock. so until i meet other people with this game. im stuck where i am. but the main game and every side quest i can do. .is done.

super princess peach.. fun side scroller. but fun. no complaints, no real amazing thing about this game. it was easy. decently fun. meh.

metroid prime hunters is the first person shooter for the ds. the game play is amazing. controls are right on. graphics are amazing. the multiplayer is fun. i have nothing bad to say about this game. it took me way longer to beat than it should have.. but thats because i hadnt played the game cube versions before..

i love turn based strategy games. and this game is fun. not nearly as involved as i would like. but fun. i never got all the medals for this game. and i feel bad for the kids that did. you would really need to play like .. months.. non stop. to get them all. but the game is fun. simple.

now im trying to remember if there are any other DS games i have beat so far. and can’t thing of any. im still working on a few right now, like contact, pokemon, guilty gear strikers (which i do not understand) and yoshis island.

I’m impressed. If I only did anything as much as you played your DS. I mean, you even follow things through to completion! I never thought I’d think of gamers as role models, but I can see it now.
